"Lousy bleeding heart, do-gooder, liberals…"
—Armin Tamas, Love and War
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, everyone! Once again, the noble Typhoon deserves my thanks for his tireless efforts of webmastery. Onwards, and I’ll be seeing you in 2009!

A new artist for Love and War means a new look for the demure damsel of Davenport, Lavie Regale!
What are your thoughts on Lavie’s new outfit? Please let me know, either by commenting in the thread or by sending me an e-mail. I look forward to receiving your feedback!
I’ve finished work on some fairly extensive preliminary notes I’ve written for my latest little mini-project. I’m still not sure whether to just go full blast and write the whole thing, or take a more cautious wait and see approach - much depends on factors out of my control. Guess we’ll see how the window blows.
“At home I dream that at Naples, at Rome, I can be intoxicated with beauty, and lose my sadness. I pack my trunk, embrace my friends, embark on the sea, and at last wake up in Naples, and there beside me is the stern fact, the sad self, unrelenting, identical, that I fled from. I seek the Vatican, and the palaces. I affect to be intoxicated with sights and suggestions, but I am not intoxicated. My giant goes with me wherever I go.”
—Ralph Waldo Emerson
I’ve gotten word from some players who are having difficulties with zip files not extracting correctly on their computers, leading to errors and loss of saved games. I’ve bundled up Act I into a self-extracting .exe file, which should eliminate the need for using WinZip altogether. Let me know how it works!
The Love and War page has moved! Please update your bookmarks to http://www.antiochforever.com/law/.
I’ve started work on a new Love and War side project. I’m still not a hundred percent sure that I won’t scrap it midway, but I think I like what I’ve planned out so far. It will be similar in tone (at least at first) to C’est Lavie, but will feature actual gameplay. I’m thinking it’ll probably be split into three chapters. If it does come to fruition, I hope you enjoy!
A new piece of fan art has been added. Check it out over at Fan Contributions!
The Armin and Henrik mugs have been rotated out, which brings us to the final two of our six mug collection: Ryan and Juno. From now on, I’ll rotate amongst the various pairings every now and then. Hope everyone had a fun and intriguing “Leap Day”!
The Lavie and Marianne mugs have been rotated out for the time being. Now featured are two thirds of the Three Compadres: Armin and Henrik. Why not stop by the CaféPress store and take a gander?
